Fantasy: Playful and Safe Children's Furniture

This furniture series was created as a reaction to the unsatisfactory supply of affordable, safe, and colorful children's furniture. The intention was to create a playful approach that combines new ergonomic concepts with vibrant designs.

Fantasy's characteristic feature is the originally designed plastic handle embedded in the cabinet's door, eliminating the risk of injuries. This innovative solution ensures both functionality and safety. Additionally, each cabinet can be customized with original graphics, adding a personal touch to the space and supporting the author's intention.

Furthermore, the modules of Fantasy furniture have a magnetic back, allowing for the use of magnetic sets that enhance the educational character of the furniture. This design not only provides a functional solution but also encourages learning and creativity.

When it comes to safety and quality, Fantasy does not compromise. The designers have paid great attention to technical details, ensuring maximum safety and smooth functionality. The ergonomic requirements for children's furniture have been carefully considered, and high-quality materials and craftsmanship have been employed.

All cabinets are available in combinable modules with doors, shelves, and plastic boxes. The furniture is designed with rounded edges, eliminating sharp corners and edges. The body and back of the furniture are made of 18 mm thick glued material, ensuring durability and robustness. The hinges of the doors are equipped with shock absorbers for slow closing, preventing accidents. Additionally, the castors are equipped with brakes and a skid-proof rubber surface for added safety.

Fantasy has been widely recognized and used not only in kindergartens and schools but also in public children's play areas such as libraries, cafes, and car showrooms. Its versatility and playful design make it a perfect fit for any space where a playful atmosphere is desired.

The Fantasy furniture line was created by the talented team of Radka Sramkova, Petr Hamacek, and Vaclav Charvat. Their dedication to creating safe, functional, and visually appealing furniture has earned them the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2016.
